Doha, December 18 (QNA) - HE Chairman and CEO of Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) Nasser bin Ghanim Al Khelaifi expressed his pride in the amazing and successful FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, hailing the tournament as a unique event that brought peoples of different cultures and nationalities together.

The World Cup in Qatar is so far the best in all respects, and the final match between Argentina and France is one of the most beautiful finals, if not the most beautiful at all, Al Khelaifi said in a statement Sunday after attending the final match which saw the Albiceleste claiming their third World Cup trophy.

It was a unique experience, and the Qatari success dazzled the whole world. Qatar cordially welcomed all visitors to the World Cup, and the media started to talk positively about Qatar, His Excellency said.

Doha is the capital of sports, and Lusail Iconic Stadium is one of the best stadiums in the world, the PSG chairman added.

The Qataris are proud of all the stadiums that hosted the World Cup matches, and they look forward to hosting the best events, as their dreams have no limits, His Excellency added.

Congratulating the Argentine and French national teams on the dream-like final, Al Khelaifi also extended congratulations to PSG stars Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe, for their high-level performances during the World Cup and during today's final match.

After a 120-minute 3-3 draw, a 4-2 penalty shootout victory gave Messi and Argentina their third World Cup trophy. (QNA)
