Doha, December 15 (QNA) - France retired midfielder Christian Karembeu said Thursday that the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 final will culminate the State of Qatar's wonderful planning and preparations to host the World Cup.
Speaking exclusively to Qatar News Agency (QNA), the legendary footballer said that Qatar proved to the world that it is a country that values sports and athletes and respects the cultures of peoples, providing fans an opportunity to gather in an Arab country for the first time.
This World Cup edition is considered the most distinguished in all aspects, technical, administrative and organizational, the 1998 World Cup winner said, pointing out that the teams that participated in the tournament praised the Qatari organization and special arrangements regarding training stadiums, movement and match times.
Hailing the atmosphere of the tournament, Karembeu said the world that came to Doha, with its various cultures, found welcome, hospitality, security that increased the value of the Qatari organization and the success of the World Cup in terms of public attendance, encouragement and passion for the game in love and peace.
