Doha, December 15 (QNA) - The dream of playing and scoring for the French national team has been realized in the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 said France player Randal Kolo Muani, pointing that his team eye defending the title they won in Russia 2018.

Muani said in remarks that his joy with advancing for the final surpasses his that of scoring the second goal against Morocco in the semi-finals on Wednesday, describing that match as strong and difficult.

The player, who came as a substitute for Ousmane Dembele in the match, added that he has always dreamt of playing for the national team.

The 24 Y/O Eintracht Frankfurt forwarder was invited to join the French national team after his countryman Christopher Nkunku had sustained a knee injury during the last training sessions for the national team before traveling to Qatar.

Prior to being invited for the national team, Randal Kolo Muani played only 12 minutes for 'The Blues' in the UEFA Nations League.
