Speaking at the press conference after Argentina's 3-0 win over Croatia in the semi-final of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, he said his team managed to win thanks to finishing-off their chances. He said that the team will be up for the final, noting that they still haven't played at their best despite the win. He praised the mental strength showed by his players, particularly after losing the opening match to Saudi Arabia. He added that they learned a lot as they progressed in the competition and will have a lot to offer in the final. He also said that the coaching staff's focus will now turn to ensuring the players are physically and mentally ready to play in the final. (QNA)
