Doha,December 12 (QNA) - The former head of the Egyptian Football Association Eng. Ahmed Megahed said that the world has not and will not witness a world cup like FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, lauding the way the tournament has been organized which succeeded in attracting the masses during the days of the competitions from the outset until it approached the days of its end and led to the emergence of all tournament stadiums with their maximum accommodation capacities.
In his statements to Qatar News Agency (QNA) Megahed said that the tournament organizing committee has succeeded in planning the events associated with the tournament to be held in designated areas, which prompted the existence of masses from 32 countries, the number of countries participating in the tournament, to converge in one place to enjoy these events, pointing out that holding a tournament with very close distances, along with the massive hit, has been certain to never overburden the football teams who were moving between the training and tournament stadiums, which per se, has contributed to increasing the concentration and to never waste the time, in addition to preserving the planning programs of the teams.
He underlined that the world cup tournaments have never witnessed the facilitations provided during the tournament before, pointing to the expedited procedures of receiving the tournament guests and their entry through multiple ports until reaching the free-of-charge transportation means that are available around the clock for all guests.
Concerning the eight tournament stadiums that hosted the tournament games from the start of the tournament until reaching the final stages, Megahed described them as the best stadiums in the world, stressing that all the tournament stadiums featured the global level, in terms of the competitions areas that include footballers chambers, corridors, warm-up areas, coaches, media rooms, along with the hospitality areas for VIP visitors and services for the masses, asserting that the State of Qatar has managed to prove to the entire world how it has preserved the traditions and identity in the face of the recurrent pressures, adding that the tournament underscored that Palestine remains in the hearts of all Arabs and the Arab masses who have celebrated the Arab successes in the tournament achieved by the teams of Saudi Arabia, Tunisia and Morocco.
Touching on the technical aspect, he indicated that holding the tournament at this time of the year is one of the reasons for the high-level of technical excellence through which the participating teams emerged, along with the good weather and the moderation of the temperature which helped the technical staff implement their ideas in maintaining the footballer' stamina away from fatigue, pointing out that all apparatuses and sectors inside the State of Qatar have succeeded in presenting a model that will never be replicated easily, stressing that such edition of world cup tournaments is difficult to repeat itself once again.
