Madrid, December 13 (QNA) - Former Spanish Coach Luis Enrique praised Morocco's national team performance at the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, stating that the qualification of the Atlas Lions for the final at the expense of France would not be a surprise.

In a press statement, he said that they didn't play a good game against Morocco, and that he had been with the team for 4 years and it's time to change.

He added they could have done a better job as he tried to pick the best players, and he could replace one player in the team.

In response to a question on his favorite team in the World Cup after Spain's exit, he predicted that no one will be surprised if Morocco reaches the final. It will be crazy but deserved, and he hoped that Argentina would win to honor Messi's undisputed value for football.

Coach Enrique praised extraordinary performance of Sofyan Amrabat, Hakim Ziyech Jed and Izzuddin Onahi. (QNA)
