Doha, December 12 (QNA) - The defender of the French national team Raphael Varane confirmed that the task of his country's national team in the semi-finals of the World Cup will not be easy at all with the Moroccan national team.

He confirmed that they have a difficult match ahead and have to show their best to book their place at the final, adding that they have seen the excellence of several teams in this tournament, but they have left early, stressing that they must continue to focus to the maximum degree.

Varane expressed his optimism about the upcoming confrontation against the Moroccan national team in light of the high morale prevailing in the atmosphere of the national team.

In response to a question by (QNA), Varane answered that the Moroccan national team has managed to achieve a great level, both in the group stage and even in the knockout stages, and managed to overcome the obstacle of big teams and scored great results at the expense of the national team of Spain, as well as the national team of Belgium and recently managed to overcome the national team of Portugal.

He said that he aspires to achieve his second World Cup title, and his relationship is also developing with coach Didier Deschamps, highlighting that his great confidence in him gave him an incentive to do his best and help the group, hoping to continue with the national team, although all their focus now is on their goal of achieving the title.
