Doha, December 12 (QNA) - Argentina national football team coach Lionel Scaloni underscored the difficulty of facing the Croatian national team tomorrow, in the semifinals of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

He said that it is expected that the match will be difficult against a capable team that includes good players and plays total football, which is different from the meeting of the 2018 championship, adding that there is no comparison here because the situation is completely different.

During a press conference, he said that they played against Netherlands the way they wanted well in a match that saw difficult situations and the refereeing was fair, calling for stopping the dubious speech about the refereeing in that match, stressing that they lost to Saudi Arabia before and said nothing.

He explained that they were not surprised by the high quality with which the national team played in that match and the captain Messi because he always wanted to play to win for the national team, adding they need to focus on the game and devote all efforts to winning, clarifying that there are decisive changes in crucial matches in such big tournaments, adding that they have to deal with it and know how the details of the matches can change.

He reiterated that their goal is to play each match individually and focus on each match, explaining that they will do our best to achieve the desired goal and reach the final.

Argentina coach Lionel Scaloni concluded that their game tomorrow is against an organized team playing total football, adding that they want to win to please the Argentine fans. (QNA)
