Doha, December 10 (QNA) - France's national team star, Olivier Giroud, raised today his goal tally in the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 finals to four goals, after scoring his country's second goal in the match in which it defeated England in the quarterfinals.
Giroud scored two goals in the France - Australia match in which the former won by a score of 4 goals to one, in the opening match of Group D. He also scored a goal against Poland in the round of sixteen.
The historical top French scorer raised his score to 53 goals in his 118th international match.
Olivier comes second to the top FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 scorer after his teammate Kylian Mbappe, who has scored 5 goals so far. (QNA)
