Doha, December 10 (QNA) - HE Deputy Speaker of the Arab Parliament and Member of the Jordanian House of Representatives Khalil Attia said that the State of Qatar has exhibited tremendous creativity in preparing for and organizing the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, which is being held for the first time in an Arab country.

In an exclusive statement to Qatar News Agency (QNA), His Excellency said that the State of Qatar presented a bright image of Arabs and Muslims during its creative organization of this edition of the World Cup, which confirmed the invalidity of the slander, lies and distortion campaigns that targeted this tournament.

HE the Second Deputy Speaker of the Arab Parliament added the spectacular organization of the World Cup contributed to the unification of the Arab and Islamic nations. He his appreciation for all the efforts made in this regard, wishing success to the State of Qatar in hosting this event.

Relatedly, HE Khalil Attia praised the parliamentary relations between the State of Qatar and the Arab Parliament, and the keenness of both sides to enhance cooperation and joint coordination in various spheres, pointing out that Qatar's presidency of the Association of Secretaries General of the Arab Parliaments enriches the Arab parliamentary experience and contributes to its development.

Concluding his statement to QNA, His Excellency praised the State of Qatar's stances in support of Arab and Islamic causes, expressing thanks and appreciation to the Shura Council for the kind invitation to attend the activities of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. (QNA)
