Doha, December 10 (QNA) - HE Deputy Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament Elias Bou Saab underlined that the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 is a historic event and a source of pride for every Arab citizen.

Speaking to Qatar News Agency (QNA), His Excellency said that the good preparation and distinguished organization of this prominent global event demonstrated the ability of the State of Qatar to achieve historic accomplishments in various fields; noting that hosting the World Cup will mark a milestone in future sporting events.

On the other hand, HE Deputy Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament Elias Bou Saab affirmed the strong parliamentary relations between the two brotherly countries, noting the constant endeavor to enhancing the efforts of common interest, and the continuous coordination and cooperation in various regional and international forums, especially that the State of Qatar chairs the Association of Secretaries General of Arab Parliaments.

His Excellency expressed great thanks to the leadership, government and people of the State of Qatar for the warm welcome, good reception and generous hospitality, wishing Qatar success in hosting the tournament. (QNA)
