Doha, December 09 (QNA) - Brazilian coach Adenor Leonardo Bacchi "Tite" announced the end of his coaching career with the Brazilian team after being eliminated in the quarter-finals of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, following his side loss to Croatia on penalties 4-2 in their match tonight.
At the post-match press conference, Tite said: 'The cycle ended and I said that one-and-a-half years ago and I keep to my word." He said before the tournament he would stand down regardless of his side's performance. "It is a painful defeat but I go in peace. It is the end of a cycle," said the Brazilian coach He added that today's match did not go in the best way, adding that they created many opportunities, made various substitutions, and applied more than one method of play, but the result in the end was not in their favor.
