Doha, December 01 (QNA) - The coach of the Canadian national football team, John Herdman, expressed his great pride in the performance of the players during the three matches they played in the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, despite its fourth-last place in Group F and elimination from the World Cup.
Canada lost 2-1 on Thursday against Morocco in the last round of the group stage, which is the third loss after losing to Belgium and Croatia.
In the press conference post Canada-Morocco match, Herdman said, that the Canadian national team performed distinguishably against Morocco, which topped Group F, and the Moroccan team is one of the strongest teams which has participated in many world championships with a magnificent group of players in the largest European clubs.
