Copenhagen, November 07 (QNA) - Denmark's coach Kasper Hjolmand announced today a squad of only 21 players including Christian Eriksen, in preparation for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, due to kick off Nov. 20.
There are five players to be named later.
Hjolmand is supposed to announce the full squad for the coming period, according to what the coach said today in Copenhagen.
The Danish national team coach, who reached the semi-finals of the UEFA championship in 2021, indicated that there are between 10 to 12 players competing for the remaining five places.
Denmark captain Simon Kjaer will be the most internationally experienced in coach Hjulmand's squad, with 121 caps.
Denmark will start its campaign against Tunisia on Nov. 22 in Group D, which includes defending champion France and Australia. (QNA)
