Doha, November 08 (QNA) - The Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) has launched its campaign to support team Qatar at FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 to take place from November 20 to December 18, in cooperation with the Qatar Football Association (QFA).

The campaign aims to bring the whole nation together in support of team Qatar in the build-up to their FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 debut.

During the campaign, the QOC will post a number of promotional videos on its social media platforms featuring team Qatar stars in other sports including the Olympic gold medalist Fares Ibrahim (Weightlifting), Abdulrahman Hassan (Athletics), Maryam Al Boinin (Equestrian), Haya Diab (Fencing), Hayat Ali (Basketball) and Saleh Al Athba (Shooting) who invite local football fans to support team Qatar during FIFA World Cup.

The campaign will also showcase students of Aspire Academy which helped prepare a huge number of team Qatar players who will participate in the FIFA World Cup for the first time in their careers.

The QOC media team will cover team Qatar matches during the tournament and interact with the thrilling atmosphere at the world cup stadiums. The QOC will also cover the activities of the QFA promotional campaign to support team Qatar.

The campaign comes in light of the QOC's commitment to support Qatar's national teams during their international tournaments and to invite the different sectors of the community to cheer our national team in their historical appearance at the FIFA world cup.
