Doha, November 28 (QNA) - HE President of Brazil's Chamber of Deputies Arthur Cesar hailed the distinguished and exceptional organization of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, and the advanced level of infrastructure in the country that supports the success of such global sporting events.
In a statement to Qatar News Agency (QNA), His Excellency said that the State of Qatar has been able to develop a high-level infrastructure, and has showed great ability to host and organize global sporting events, including the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
He added that the International Federation of Football Associations (FIFA) granted the right to host the World Cup to the State of Qatar which has shown impressive success in hosting this event.
President of Brazil's Chamber of Deputies, who is currently visiting the country, stressed that football and sports in general are made to bring people and countries together and they are important for the convergence of cultures and nations, and not a tool for sowing division and provoking discord. He also expressed confidence that the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 will achieve such humanitarian goals of convergence and rapprochement among the peoples of the world. (QNA)
