Doha, November 23 (QNA) - Denmark defensive midfielder Thomas Delaney will be out of action in his side's coming games in the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 over a knee injury, Danish Football Association announced Wednesday.
Delaney sustained his injury during their Tuesday's goalless draw with Tunisia in Group D opener. He will be sidelined for four weeks.
Commenting on his absence, manager Kasper Hjulmand said the player will be missed both on and off the pitch, adding that other players are ready and they have a strong squad for the next matches.
Denmark will play Saturday against France, and Tunisia will face Australia on the same day. (QNA)
