Doha, November 23 (QNA) - Coach of the Brazilian national team Adenor Leonardo Bacchi, commonly known as Tite, has expressed his great optimism in the ability of the five-time holder of the World Cup to achieve the desired result in tomorrow's match against Serbia at Lusail Stadium in the opening of their Group G matches of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
In a press conference today, Tete said, "We have different options in the squad that will participate tomorrow. We have a balanced team that can deal with the style of the competing teams." "We will play with our usual attacking power, and we will not let the competing team take the initiative in the offensive situation, and we want to go far in the championship rounds and embrace the cup that we have missed since 2002. Indeed, our goal is to return to the podiums," he added.
He explained, "We respect all competitors, and we also trust ourselves and our capabilities, and we have to learn from the lesson that the Argentine national team received yesterday in its losing match against Saudi Arabia, For his part, Thiago Silva, captain of the Brazilian national team, said that his country's national team includes the best players, stressing everyone's keenness to achieve results that please fans all over the country.
Chelsea defender added, "Being in the World Cup is a unique opportunity, and we have to be at our best in facing tomorrow and deal with pressure in order to achieve the desired result in the opening match, which is of great importance." In response to a question by Qatar News Agency (QNA) about his expected dream, the 38-year-old Silva concluded, "Certainly embracing the cup is our goal in Qatar, and we want to achieve our goal after an absence since 2002, and I undoubtedly saw who was able to achieve the World Cup for Brazil previously, and today we seek to honor our country and win the title once again." Group G includes Brazil, Serbia, Switzerland, and Cameroon national teams. (QNA)
