Doha, November 23 (QNA) - HE Secretary-General of Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union (AIPU) Fayez Al Shawabkeh hailed the State of Qatar's great efforts to host the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, saying that the world saw the country's great organization and unprecedented integrated preparations for the tournament.
Speaking to Qatar News Agency (QNA), His Excellency said that the State of Qatar's hosting of the sports mega event dazzled the world and reflected the country's strong determination to make great multi-field achievements.
His Excellency highlighted the coordination and joint cooperation between the AIPU and the Shura Council, as an AIPU member, on various Arab issues and events.
His Excellency added that the State of Qatar's chairmanship of the Arab Association of Secretaries General of Parliaments (AASGP) would contribute to duplicating AASGP's future efforts, particularly amid the strong desire and clear determination to back the association's future activities. (QNA)
