Doha, November 22 (QNA) - The head coach of the Tunisian national football team, Jalal Kadri, praised the great public support received by the national team in its match today against its Danish counterpart.

At the post-match press conference, Kadri said that the Tunisian fans played a big role in supporting the players morally in the match, which was expected after the great support found by the national team at the FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2021.

The Tunisian coach added that his country's national team presented an outstanding level in front of Denmark, but lacked effectiveness in translating the chances he got in the match, which he will work on in the next match against the Australian national team, noting at the same time that without scoring goals, the goal of the Tunisian national team cannot be achieved in the championship.

Kadri stressed his great respect for the referee decisions and FIFA directives in the aspect of calculating overtime, but he was surprised that the match reached an additional 8 minutes at a time when the referee's signal was that the overtime was only 5 minutes.

The coach expressed his happiness that his country's national team came out with a point against a big team, Denmark, and said that the hoped-for result was a victory, but the Tunisian national team played with a high spirit and will continue with the same spirit in the next match against Australia.
