Doha, November 22 (QNA) - Denmark national football team head coach Kasper Hjulmand said that the goalless draw against Tunisia in Group D of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 is a satisfactory result.

At the post-match press conference, Hjulmand confirmed that he tried to adjust a lot of things depending on the course of the match, but he faced a strong opponent who deserved to come out with a point and not lose.

The coach stressed that trust in the players is the way for the Danish national team to win in the upcoming matches, in response to a question about dissatisfaction on the Danish street with the players and the way the national team has been playing lately.

Hjulmand explained that he will work to correct the mistakes revealed to him by today's match, indicating at the same time that the Tunisian national team has given him a lesson that he should benefit from in his next two matches against France and Australia and will work to ensure that the national team is ready to provide the best levels.

The Danish coach justified his substitutions as purely technical choices and that he is dealing with his full list of players and each player has something to add to the national team.

The coach denied that he had underestimated the Tunisian opponent in the match, and said that he had been repeating for a while that the Tunisian national team is a very strong competitor and has received great public support.

Hjulmand underlined that the technical level of the Danish national team will be different in its next two matches against France and Australia, noting that he came to the World Cup with great ambition and eagerness to achieve a distinctive result for Danish football and will focus on that.

The Danish coach reiterated that his country's national team has a chance to progress in the World Cup and it will be clear in the next round. (QNA)
