Starting Friday, 22 Countries Participating in Katara's World Cup Events

Doha, 17 November, (QNA) The Cultural Village Foundation's events scheduled during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 will start tomorrow, Friday, with the participation of 22 countries from around the world. The events program includes 51 major events and more than 300 side-events.
Also, in conjunction with the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 program, Katara will inaugurate tomorrow a series of art exhibitions including: "World Faces Exhibition, First Football World Cup Exhibition, Solar Exhibition with Embassy of the Republic of El Salvador and Qatari Fine Art Exhibition, Katara Museum of Traditional Bearings, Katara International Ceramics Exhibition, Football Exhibition, Fine Art and Collectibles, World Cup Post stamps Exhibition, The History of the Oud Instrument Exhibition, Iranian Cultural Exhibition, Events for Children with special needs in collaboration with Qatar Social Work Foundation, Katara International Handwork Market, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation Event, Cultural House Tent, Sports Engineering and Qatar World Cup with Qatar Society of Engineers".
There are various performances awaiting the fans, including: "Balloons Wonderland World, International Bubbles Spectacular Show and Music Show for Sustainable Development, Good Health for All (Education Above All), the Dome of the Astronomical Chandelier Performances, in addition to a traditional musical segment by the Qatari musician, Hamed Al-Naama", further to a variety of Street Arts Festival events.
Katara is scheduled to launch 22 books about the World Cup, as well as, a number of lectures scheduled at the Open Theater to be presented by Mustafa Hosni, Omar Suleiman, Nauman Ali Khan, and Ahmed Al Shagari. Katara will present a number of competitions, including Fine Art Competition, Photography Competition and Katara's Golden Talent Competition.
Katara's events will continue until Dec. 18, that include festivals, parties, exhibitions and live performances. (QNA).
