Khartoum,November 17 (QNA) - The Sudanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and on behalf of the government of Sudan, underlined its support and assistance for the State of Qatar in hosting FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, pointing out that such major global sporting event is organized for the first time in the Arab region.
In a statement Thursday, the Sudanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs lauded the level of preparations, arrangements and distinguished efforts made by the State of Qatar to have a successful football world cup.
In addition, the statement condemned the malicious smear and skepticism campaigns that target Qatar's hosting of this event, indicating that Qatar's hosting of this vital global event is a privilege for the State of Qatar and all Arab countries, affirming that the government of Sudan is fully ready to support Qatar in all fields required for the success of these events.
