Qatar 2022/ Australian National Team Arrives in Doha

Doha, November 14 (QNA) - The Australian national football team has arrived in Doha to participate in the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, coach Graham Arnold recently announced a list of 26 players for the World Cup finals.

Defender Trent Sainsbury who helped the team win the 2015 AFC Asian Cup, is absent from Australia's squad for the finals.

The list also did not include Nagoya Grampus goalkeeper Mitchell Langerak, midfielder Tom Rogic, and striker Adam Taggart of Cerezo Osaka of Japan.

Australia is in Group D, along with France (the defending champions), Denmark and Tunisia.
