Sharm El-Shaikh, November 11 (QNA) - The pavilion of the State of Qatar, which was held within the activities of the 27th session of the Conference of the Parties of the UNFCCC (COP 27) in the Egyptian city of Sharm El-Sheikh, witnessed a large turnout of international personalities participating in the conference, as well as dozens of participants from different countries of the world, to witness Qatar's experience in organizing the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, and to watch models of environmentally friendly stadiums.
In this context, HE Minister of Youth and Sports of the Arab Republic of Egypt Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, during his visit to the Qatari pavilion at "COP 27" conference, praised Qatar's organization of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, expressing his admiration for the distinctive architectural form of the stadiums.
During his visit to the Qatari pavilion at the conference, the Director-General of the Kuwait Environment Public Authority Sheikh Abdullah Ahmad Al-Humoud Al-Sabah, expressed his happiness and constant fascination with what the State of Qatar is doing, especially in sustainable development projects.
The Director-General of the Kuwait Environment Public Authority said that his country continues to integrate with the State of Qatar, to achieve a better future for both countries in light of continuous cooperation and integration.
He pointed out that over the past years, the State of Qatar has been able to achieve great successes, the latest of which was the completion of its preparations to organize the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, as it seeks to always achieve the best. (QNA)
