San Jose, November 10 (QNA) - Costa Rica defeated Nigeria 2-0 on Thursday in an international trial game as part of the North Americans' preparations for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
Two goals from Oscar Duarte and Kendall Waston in minutes 7 and 73 respectively sealed the win for Costa Rica, who will play their last friendly ahead of World Cup with Iraq on Nov. 17.
Costa Rica were drawn in Group E along with Germany, Japan and Spain. (QNA)
