Doha, October 12 (QNA) - The Ministry of Interior, represented by the Transportation Security Department, conducted a workplace drill on responding to emergencies and dealing with various incidents.

The drill focused on a case study to simulate events at different times and dates concerning the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 to confirm the readiness of security and safety procedures.

The National Command Center, the Lekhwiya Force, the General Directorate of Civil Defense, the General Directorate of Traffic, the Criminal Investigation Department, the Emergency Police Department (Al Fazaa), the Criminal Evidence and Information Department, several geographical security departments, Hamad Medical Corporation, Qatar Rail, and the metro operator participated in the drill.
