European Stock Indexes Close Mixed

Brussels, September 07 (QNA) - European stock indexes closed mixed at the end of trading on Monday.

The benchmark pan-European STOXX 600 index ended the session down 0.01 percent, while the European energy sector subindex rose 1.2 percent, buoyed by higher oil prices.

The UK's FTSE 100 fell 0.08 percent to close at 10,822.13 points, while Switzerland's benchmark index declined 0.8 percent.

Germany's DAX fell 0.25 percent to end the session at 25,981.79 points, while Italy's FTSE MIB rose 0.25 percent.

France's CAC 40 closed 0.44 percent higher at 8,313.32 points. (QNA)
