Kuwait Condemns Repeated Iranian Attacks
Kuwait, September 03 (QNA) - The State of Kuwait expressed its strongest condemnation and denunciation of the repeated Iranian attacks against it, the latest of which occurred Thursday morning, describing them as a flagrant violation of its sovereignty and a direct threat to its security and stability, as well as the safety of its citizens and residents, and a grave breach of international law, the Charter of the United Nations, and Security Council Resolution 2817.
In a statement issued on Thursday, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated that the continuation of these attacks reflects a hostile approach and represents a dangerous escalation that threatens the security and stability of the region, as well as a systematic undermining of diplomatic efforts aimed at de-escalation and reducing tensions.
The Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized that the State of Kuwait reserves its full right to take all necessary measures to safeguard its sovereignty, preserve its security, and defend its territory and vital infrastructure against any aggression or threat, based on its inherent right to self-defense under Article 51 of the Charter of the United Nations and the rules of international law.
