Manama, September 29 (QNA) - The State of Qatar has participated in the Fourth Gulf Housing Week and the opening of the Innovation Conference and Exhibition in the Social Housing Sector 2026, which kicked off Tuesday at the International Exhibition and Convention Centre in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Assistant Undersecretary for Social Development Affairs at the Ministry of Social Development and Family (MSDF) Fahad Mohammed Al Khayarin represented the State of Qatar.

He also took part in the panel discussion on resilience and integration: innovative frameworks for charting the future of national housing, alongside housing officials from the GCC nations.

The panel addressed emerging trends in developing housing systems, as well as the role of resilience, innovation and integration in developing housing policies and services, while also providing an opportunity to exchange Gulf experiences and expertise in this field.

The first day also featured the opening of the conference and accompanying exhibition, which showcased the latest innovations, solutions and experiences in social housing, with participation from pavilions representing the GCC countries, including the State of Qatar's pavilion, which showcases part of Qatar's experience in the housing sector and related services.

The MSDF's participation is part of the State of Qatar's commitment to boosting joint Gulf cooperation and integration in the housing sector, sharing expertise and experiences among the GCC states to help advance the housing system and services, as well as the quality of life of citizens. (QNA)
