Gaza, September 26 (QNA) - Two Palestinians, one of them a child, were killed on Saturday by Israeli occupation forces' fire in central and southern Gaza Strip, and another person was wounded.
Medical sources reported that one Palestinian was killed and another wounded in an Israeli drone strike near Al Nouri Tower northwest of the Al Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.
A 12-year-old child was killed by Israeli military fire in the outskirts of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip.
A ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip went into effect on Oct. 10, 2025, but the United Nations has emphasized that the agreement remains fragile, with Israeli forces continuing airstrikes, artillery bombardment and gunfire, resulting in Palestinian casualties. Approximately two-thirds of the strip remain inaccessible or subject to severe restrictions on access.
Amid continuing difficult humanitarian conditions, the United Nations said in its latest assessment that early recovery in Gaza remains below required levels, with infrastructure and basic services still severely damaged, amid a shortage of funding and restrictions on the entry of necessary supplies and equipment.
