Cairo, September 25 (QNA) - The Secretariat General of the Arab League strongly condemned the Houthi group's launch of ballistic missiles targeting several cities and regions across Saudi Arabia.

In a statement released Friday, the Arab League said the repeated attacks are a dangerous escalation and a direct threat to Saudi Arabia's security and stability. 

Reaffirming its full solidarity, the League voiced firm support for all measures Riyadh undertakes to safeguard its sovereignty, national security, and territorial integrity under the UN Charter and international law.

The League stressed that continued Houthi escalations severely derail political efforts toward a comprehensive resolution to the Yemeni crisis.

It reiterated backing for regional and international peace initiatives grounded in agreed frameworks and relevant UN Security Council resolutions, particularly Resolution 2216, to preserve Yemen's unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity. (QNA)
