Doha, September 24 (QNA) - MEEZA QSTP LLC announced that it has awarded the construction contract for its new Data Center to Elegancia Contracting and Industries, a subsidiary of Estithmar Holding QPSC, for more than QAR 500 million.

The new facility is part of MEEZA’s expansion pipeline to support growing demand from Cloud Computing, Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, and Digital Transformation applications, according to a company statement published on the Qatar Stock Exchange website on Thursday.

The facility will significantly expand Qatar’s capacity to host hyperscale cloud providers and high-density AI workloads, reinforcing MEEZA’s position as a regional digital infrastructure leader and strengthening Qatar Science and Technology Park’s role as a hub for technology and innovation.

For Estithmar Holding, the project further expands the Group’s participation in mission-critical infrastructure and strengthens its presence in one of the fastest-growing sectors of the global economy. (QNA)
