Doha, September 22 (QNA) - Al Shamal made a strong start to their 2026-2027 season QSL Cup campaign with a commanding 4-0 victory over Al Bidda at Al Khor Stadium on Tuesday. 

Omar Ali set the tone for Al Shamal, scoring twice to give his side a comfortable advantage. He opened the scoring in the 18th minute before adding his second shortly after the restart in 58th minute. 

Ahmed Al Saeed extended Al Shamal's lead in the 68th minute, putting the result beyond doubt. Mohammed Radi then completed the emphatic victory with a fourth goal in 80th minute.

Moreover, Muaither scored a 2-0 win over Al Khor in Round 1 of 2026-2027 season QSL Cup at the Grand Hamad Stadium of Al Arabi club on Tuesday.

Spanish Marc Marruecos provided Muaither with the lead in the 21st minute of the match.

The lead was doubled late in the 83rd minute through Abdellah Raihani's penalty goal.

Furthermore, Al Waab secured a 1-0 victory over Mesaimeer in Round 1 of 2026-2027 season QSL Cup at the Hamad Bin Khalifa Stadium of Al Ahli club on Tuesday.

Diogo Filipe scored the lone goal from the penalty spot in the 12th minute giving Al Waab an early advantage that they successfully defended until full time. (QNA)
