Israel Conducts Blow-Up Operations, Shelling Across Southern Lebanon
Beirut, September 19 (QNA) - The Israeli occupation forces carried out two blow-up operations Saturday in the towns of Markaba and Talusa, followed by a violent, multi-stage blast in the town of Mansouri, as well as a massive blast in the town of Mais Al-Jabal, Lebanon's National News Agency said.
The agency added that Israeli artillery shelling targeted Wadi Zibqin, the fringes of Yater, and the town of Eastern Zawtar, while occupation soldiers set additional homes in the town of Mansouri ablaze, alongside a massive blow-up operation in the town of Khiam.
The offensives came one day after Mais Al-Jabal Governmental Hospital was set ablaze.
On Jun. 26, Lebanon and Israel signed a US-brokered framework accord that contemplated security arrangements intended to facilitate the phased deployment of the Lebanese military and the withdrawal of Israeli forces.
The accord also included measures related to reconstruction and economic recovery, however, its implementation has encountered hitches. (QNA)
