Doha, September 02 (QNA) - Qatar Science and Technology Park (QSTP), a member of Qatar Foundation (QF), has launched its revamped Incubation Program with the Fall 2026 cohort, welcoming 52 local and international startups across 19 sectors.
In a statement Wednesday, the Park said the program offers an integrated 16-week pathway to support startups in moving from testing and developing ideas to launching projects and preparing for investment.
It noted that the new program features an integrated three-phase journey, beginning with an intensive venture development phase, followed by an incubation phase focused on execution and market entry, and concluding with a funding phase focused on connecting with investors.
In this context, President of QSTP, Rama Chakaki, said great startups are not built through ideas alone, rather they are built by testing assumptions, proving demand, and turning evidence into action.
She added that the revamped Incubation Program provides ambitious founders with the support and opportunities they need to build companies with real potential, establish themselves in Qatar, and grow into the wider region.
In essence, the program begins with an intensive four-week phase, during which founders work to test and develop their ventures across a number of key areas, including product-market fit and product readiness, go-to-market strategy and market potential, as well as financials and team dynamics.
The phase combines workshops, mentorship, hands-on development, field work, and regular pitching, enabling founders to test their assumptions, measure their progress, and build on the results to develop their ventures. 
Following a structured evaluation process, selected startups advance to the eight-week Incubation phase, where ideas and plans are turned into practical steps on the ground.
During this phase, founders focus on establishing their businesses, engaging with the local market, pursuing pilot opportunities for their solutions, as well as preparing for regional expansion and investment.
  The program concludes with a four-week Funding phase, during which QSTP works to connect investment-ready startups with relevant investors, facilitate communication between them, and support follow-up discussions, building on the progress made by the startups throughout the program.
The Fall 2026 cohort began the program on Sept. 1, becoming the first cohort to join QSTP's revamped Incubation Program. The cohort comprises 52 startups, including 25 local and 27 international startups, spanning 19 sectors, including EdTech, MedTech, FinTech, cybersecurity, and SportsTech. (QNA)
