Doha, September 12 (QNA) - HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani and HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Dr. Ayman Safadi, held a telephone conversation.

The talks discussed cooperation between the two nations and avenues for deepening and supporting it. They also addressed recent regional developments, particularly ongoing diplomatic efforts and close coordination to de-escalate tensions and strengthen security and stability in the region.

During the call, HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs stressed that the State of Qatar supports all diplomatic efforts to ensure a resolution that guarantees freedom of maritime traffic, paving the way for a comprehensive accord that achieves enduring peace in the region. (QNA)
