DAAM and Katara Sign Funding Agreement to Support S'hail 2026
Doha, September 01 (QNA) - The Social and Sport Contribution Fund (DAAM) has signed a funding agreement with Katara - the Cultural Village Foundation to support the 10th edition of the Katara International Hunting and Falcons Exhibition "S'hail 2026," which will take place from Sep. 8-12.
Under the agreement, DAAM will provide financial support for the exhibition for the ninth consecutive year, continuing its backing since the second edition.
The support will help sustain the event, build on its success, and strengthen its standing as one of the region's leading cultural and heritage gatherings, bringing together specialists and enthusiasts in hunting and falconry from Qatar and around the world.
The agreement reflects the role of DAAM and Qatar Stock Exchange-listed companies in supporting cultural and heritage initiatives and sustainable development, in line with Qatar National Vision 2030.
The Katara International Hunting and Falcons Exhibition "S'hail" is an annual specialist event hosted by Qatar. It brings together falconers, hunting enthusiasts, experts and exhibitors from across the world, and features falcon auctions, hunting and travel equipment, traditional crafts, and international cultural pavilions. The program supports the exchange of expertise and helps preserve and promote the heritage of falconry.
Since its establishment in 2010, DAAM has launched numerous vital projects and initiatives across the cultural, social, sports and charitable sectors. Contributions from public shareholding companies listed on the Qatar Stock Exchange represent one of the Fund's most important financial resources, making these companies key partners in advancing social development.
