Palestinian Wounded by Israeli Gunfire North of Occupied Jerusalem
Occupied Jerusalem, August 05 (QNA) A young Palestinian man was shot and wounded Wednesday morning by Israeli occupation forces near the Dahiyat Gate in the town of Al-Ramm, north of occupied Jerusalem.
Palestinian news agency (WAFA), citing Palestinian Red Crescent Society, reported that the man sustained a live gunshot wound to the foot. He received first aid at the scene before being transferred to a hospital for further treatment.
This comes as Israeli occupation forces raided the nearby Qalandiya refugee camp at dawn today. The troops were carrying boxes, equipment, and maps, while deploying heavily across several neighborhoods and continuing raids and search operations.
The West Bank, including occupied Jerusalem, is witnessing a continuous escalation in raids, arrests, and attacks carried out by Israeli occupation forces and settlers. This coincides with the ongoing violation of the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip by the occupation through airstrikes and attacks on various areas of the Strip. (QNA)
