Israeli Occupation Arrests 9 Palestinians in Raids in West Bank
Ramallah, August 05 (QNA) - Israeli occupation forces arrested nine Palestinians on Wednesday from villages and towns in Jenin in the occupied West Bank.
In a statement, the Palestinian Prisoners Club said that the occupation forces simultaneously launched interrogation campaigns and raids in the towns of Al Yamoun and Al Sila Al Harithiya, west of Jenin, without reporting any additional arrests.
In a related context, a number of Palestinians suffered from suffocation during an Israeli forces raid on the town of Abu Dis, east of occupied Jerusalem, in an operation in which soldiers fired a barrage of sound bombs and tear gas at the citizens.
Israeli occupation forces continued to storm the Qalandia camp north of occupied Jerusalem amid heavy military reinforcements, and fired tear gas and sound bombs. They also continued to send reinforcements to the vicinity of the airport neighborhood and the Qalandia Training Institute.
Cities, towns and camps in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem are witnessing daily Israeli raids and incursions into villages, accompanied by clashes and arrests of civilians. (QNA)
