Cairo, August 05 (QNA) - Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty discussed the latest developments in Lebanon, the ongoing negotiations between Lebanon and Israel, and related developments during a phone call today with Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam.

During the call, Abdelatty reaffirmed Egypt's full solidarity with Lebanon in confronting the current challenges and reiterated Cairo's position calling for Israel's complete withdrawal from all Lebanese territory. He also stressed that any violation of Lebanon's sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity constitutes a flagrant breach of international law and UN Security Council Resolution 1701.

He also underscored the importance of supporting Lebanon's state institutions, particularly the Lebanese Armed Forces, to enable them to fulfill their responsibilities in extending the state's authority across the entire country. (QNA)
