Bahraini, Emirati Foreign Ministers Discuss Mideast Updates during Call

Manama, August 03 (QNA) - The foreign minister of Bahrain Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, and the foreign minister of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan held a phone call on Monday.

The call discussed the latest regional developments and saw an exchange of views on a range of issues of mutual concern.

Al Zayani and Al Nahyan reviewed regional and international efforts aimed at de-escalating tensions, strengthening security and stability across the region, and reopening the Strait of Hormuz to maritime traffic in a manner that ensures the safety and security of navigation while safeguarding the rights and interests of regional countries and the international community, in accordance with international law and the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS).
