Palestinian Martyred in Israeli Drone Strike on Displacement Camp in Khan Younis
Gaza, August 26 (QNA) - A Palestinian was martyred on Wednesday after an Israeli drone strike carried out by the occupation army targeted the southern Gaza Strip.
Palestinian medical sources reported that the drone struck a tent in the “Ghaith” camp for displaced people in Al-Mawasi, west of Khan Younis. Occupation vehicles also opened fire east of the city.
Israeli helicopters intensified their fire toward Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip.
Since the ceasefire last October, the number of martyrs has risen to 1,303, with 4,336 people injured. During the same period, 814 bodies have been recovered from beneath the rubble.
Since October 7, 2023, the death toll from Israel's genocide in the Gaza Strip has risen to 73,438 martyrs, with 174,447 injured. (QNA)
