Occupied Jerusalem, August 02 (QNA) - Jerusalem Governorate has issued its monthly report identifying the methodical crimes perpetrated by the Israeli occupation army throughout July 2026.

The report stated that the occupation forces continued the policy of extrajudicial killings, which resulted in the killing of three Palestinians and the wounding of 15 others throughout July.

It added that the attacks on Al-Aqsa Mosque topped these violations, marked by large-scale incursions by settlers while being protected by occupation soldiers, as part of rising attempts to create new realities that compromise the historic and legal status quo.

In addition, the occupation forces proceeded with actions to throttle daily life in the city and constrain its residents through razing operations in multiple neighborhoods and issuing demolition notices to dozens of facilities, the report found.

The report further noted that the occupation forces ramped up arbitrary detentions, the imposition of house arrest rulings, as well as banishment decisions from Al-Aqsa Mosque and Jerusalem City.

July was marked by a compelling and methodical escalation in Israeli violations against Al-Aqsa Mosque, the report underscored, emphasizing that 9,848 settlers entered the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound, alongside 4,615 people who entered under the pretext of "tourism".

It stressed that this was marked by a significant rise in the number of entrants compared with previous months. The entries took place under heavy protection from Israeli security forces.

The governorate also documented 43 settler attacks across Jerusalem, including five cases involving physical assault, as part of what it described as an ongoing escalation targeting the mosque compound, Bedouin communities, and Palestinian neighborhoods in Jerusalem.

The attacks involved damage to private property and agricultural land, the establishment of new settlement outposts, and the expansion of existing ones, the report outlined.

The governorate reported a rise in crackdowns and arrests, documenting the detention of 115 Palestinians, including five women and one child, as part of what it described as a systematic campaign targeting areas across occupied East Jerusalem.

The report said the past month saw escalating measures aimed at strengthening Israeli control over Jerusalem's physical and symbolic space, including projects targeting historical sites, increased influence by settlement groups over Palestinian neighborhoods, and efforts to reshape the city's urban landscape and cultural identity.
