Blast in Moscow Kills Three and Injures 21 Others
Moscow, August 01 (QNA) - Three people were killed and 21 others were injured with varying degrees of severity after a blast at Kudrinskaya Square in central Moscow, a statement by the Russian Interior Ministry department said Saturday.
The statement added that investigators and emergency services had embarked on operations at the scene.
Police personnel and paramedics deployed around the perimeter of the incident, the statement continued, explaining that competent authorities are counting the number of casualties and investigating the causes of this incident, according to the Russian Investigative Committee.
In a related statement, the Information Center of Russia's National Anti-terrorism Committee said a rudimentary booby trap was detonated inside the cafe, emphasizing that investigations are underway, along with the necessary actions to uncover the causes behind this incident. (QNA)
