Ramallah, August 17 (QNA) - Israeli occupation forces on Monday arrested over 19 Palestinians and shot another in various areas of the West Bank.
Palestinian News and Information Agency (WAFA) said that the occupation forces arrested 11 Palestinians from the towns of Beit Ummar and Kafr Qalil, in Nablus, and 5 others from northeast Ramallah, after raiding and searching their homes.
WAFA added that the occupation forces arrested Palestinians from Hebron, a number of young men from Qabatiya, south of Jenin, in addition to a young man from Al Fara camp, south of Tubas.
In the same context, the Jerusalem Governorate said that a Palestinian from the town of Beit Surik, north of Jerusalem, was shot by the occupation forces last night while he was near the apartheid wall in the town of Al Ram, and was transferred to the hospital for treatment.
These developments come amid escalating attacks by the occupation forces and settlers on cities, towns and camps in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem, including raids and incursions accompanied by confrontations and arrests, and the firing of live and rubber bullets and toxic tear gas bombs, as well as attacks on private property.
