5 People Killed, Over 20 Injured in Russian Attacks on Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhia
Kyiv, August 11 (QNA) - Ukrainian authorities announced on Tuesday that five people were killed and at least 20 others injured after Russian drones targeted the Ukrainian city of Zaporizhzhia.
Head of Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration Ivan Fedorov said that buildings and non-residential facilities were damaged, power outages were reported, and fires broke out, leaving five people dead and at least 20 others injured.
The Russia-Ukraine war continues to see escalating attacks from both sides. Kyiv has intensified its long-range strikes on targets inside Russian territory in recent months, while Moscow continues to launch missile and drone attacks on Ukrainian cities, particularly the capital, Kyiv. (QNA)
