Jeddah, July 09 (QNA) - Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah discussed with his Canadian counterpart, Anita Anand, who is visiting the Kingdom, the latest developments in the region.

The two ministers expressed during their meeting in Jeddah their condemnation and denunciation of the Iranian violations that targeted vessels in the Strait of Hormuz and the attacks on several countries in the region.

The two sides affirmed the importance of de-escalation, returning to negotiations, and prioritizing dialogue to reach a comprehensive agreement that strengthens regional and international peace and security.

They also explored bilateral relations between the two countries and ways of strengthening mutual cooperation. (QNA)
