Israeli Occupation Forces Launch Large-Scale Arrest Campaign in Occupied West Bank
Ramallah, July 07 (QNA) - Israeli occupation forces launched a large-scale arrest campaign on Tuesday in various areas of the occupied West Bank.
According to the Palestinian news agency (WAFA), local sources said that occupation forces raided dozens of homes in Madama village, south of Nablus, and arrested 14 Palestinians, indicating that occupation soldiers were heavily deployed throughout the village's neighborhoods, and several residents were detained and subjected to field interrogations.
Israeli occupation forces arrested four Palestinians, including a young woman, during raids on Jenin and the displaced persons' dormitories at the Arab American University. They also arrested the head of the labor union in Salfit Governorate after raiding and searching his home.
The sources added that the occupation forces raided and searched a number of Palestinian homes and damaged several vehicles.
Various areas of the occupied West Bank are witnessing a continuous escalation by the Israeli occupation forces, who carry out almost daily raids and incursions into homes, arrests, and road closures, in addition to repeated attacks by settlers against citizens and their property. (QNA)
