S&P Affirms Alkhaleej Takaful's 'A-' Credit Rating with Stable Outlook

Doha, July 06 (QNA) - S&P Global Ratings has affirmed the long-term issuer credit and insurer financial strength ratings of Alkhaleej Takaful Insurance Company (AKTI) at 'A-', maintaining a stable outlook, the company said in a statement posted on the Qatar Stock Exchange website.

The insurer said the reaffirmation reflects S&P's decision to maintain both its long-term issuer credit rating and insurer financial strength rating at 'A-' with a stable outlook.

Separately, AKTI reported a 2.66% increase in net profit for the first quarter of 2026 to QR 18.353 million, compared with QR 17.876 million in the corresponding period of 2025. (QNA)
